How to enable, hide and lock your membership comments

Enable comments for lessons within a category.

To manage comments in Memberships, access the Products tab and select an existing product or create a new one. Within the product settings, navigate to the comments section and choose the category you wish to enable, hide, or lock comments for.

What does each comment feature do?

Enabled:

A visible and active "Enabled" comment box will be on the page, displaying existing comments within the thread. This will allow your students to participate by adding new comments to the discussion.

Hidden:

A "Hidden" comment box will not be displayed on the page nor reveal any existing comments in the thread.

Locked:

A "Locked" comment box will disable your students' ability to add new comments, while the existing comments will remain visible for reference.

Managing comments for all products

To access the comments manager for your products, navigate to the "Products" tab. and then select "Manage Comments." This will allow you to oversee and handle the comments about that particular product.

Change comments visibility from User Only to Public

In the "comments manager," you can modify the visibility of a specific comment by selecting either "User Only" or "Public" from the drop-down menu. This will change the comment's visibility settings accordingly.

Delete and restore comments:

Deleting a comment:

To delete a comment, follow these steps: Go to the "Products" tab and click "Manage Comments." Next, locate and select the comment you want to delete, and finally, click on the "Delete" button to remove the comment.

Restore a deleted comment :

To restore a previously deleted comment, follow these steps: Go to the "Products" tab and click "Manage Comments." Then, click the "Deleted" tab to access the list of deleted comments. Locate and select the comment you want to restore, and finally, click on the "Restore" button to reinstate the comment.
