Setting Up Domains: Funnels and Website Configuration

Updated over 6 months ago

Important: If you prefer a funnel step or website page to be accessed directly without any additional path (e.g., domain.com instead of domain.com/home), you can designate that page as the default page for the domain. To set a default page, navigate to Settings > Domains > Edit Domain.

Configuring Sub-Domains

First, go to Settings > Domains > + Add New Domain

Enter your desired website URL and include any additional word before the URL (e.g., Get, Book, etc.).

To configure a CNAME, please copy and paste this URL.

Access your registered DNS and create a new record (CNAME) by following these steps. Specify the Host field as the term preceding the dot; in this case, it is "Promotions." Next, paste the mentioned URL into the Points to field.

Return to the Domain Area and select the "Add" option.

Finally, Select the Funnel you want to use for your created domain.

Configuring Root Domains

First, go to Settings > Domains > + Add New Domain

As we are configuring a Root Domain, an A Record is required. Please copy and paste the provided IP address and proceed to create an A record on your DNS server.

Use the following details for the A record setup: Set the Type as A, specify the Host as "@" (without quotes), and enter the copied IP address in the Points to field.

Return to the Domain Area and select the "Add" option.

Select the Funnel you want to use for your created domain.

Click on "Edit" to access the settings of the Funnel/Website you selected for your domain. From there, you can designate the page you want to serve as the Home Page.
