Updated over 6 months ago

What is the Revenue Analytics feature?

Revenue Analytics is a valuable feature that empowers businesses to make informed decisions regarding their marketing strategies. Providing detailed revenue data, it allows businesses to track one-time purchase revenue, analyze revenue distribution across different purchase channels and offers, and gain valuable insights.

Businesses can gain a comprehensive understanding of revenue generated from various sources using date and purchase channel filters. This enables them to make data-driven decisions regarding resource allocation and marketing strategy optimization.

The Net Revenue and Revenue by Offer charts give businesses an overview of their revenue performance, including total units sold, total revenue, and the distribution of the top four offers. By identifying the top-performing offers and their revenue contribution percentage, businesses can optimize their marketing efforts and focus on promoting these high-performing offers.

Moreover, the Compare Offers feature allows businesses to analyze the performance of different offers across multiple channels. This analysis enables them to refine their marketing strategies and promote their top-performing offers effectively across all channels.

By leveraging the ability to filter data by date and purchase channel, businesses gain a granular view of revenue data. This allows them to identify revenue trends and determine the most profitable channels and offers. With these insights, businesses can optimize their marketing strategies, allocate resources efficiently, and ultimately increase profitability.

How to use the Revenue Analytics feature?

To access Revenue Analytics, navigate to the Memberships section in your CRM platform. From there, go to the Analytics tab and select Revenue Analytics.

The functional requirements of Revenue Analytics include displaying data related to one-time purchases and allowing users to apply filters based on date and purchase channel. This functionality enables users to analyze and evaluate revenue data specific to one-time purchases while narrowing down the data based on specific dates and purchase channels for a more focused analysis.

Net Revenue

The Net Revenue tab is a primary component within Revenue Analytics, offering businesses an in-depth perspective on the revenue generated from one-time purchases. This tab presents data related to one-time purchases and allows users to apply filters based on date and purchase channel.

The key features of the Net Revenue tab include:

  • Total units sold: Provides the total quantity sold for one-time purchases.

  • Total revenue: Displays the overall revenue generated from one-time purchases.

  • Distribution of top four offers: Presents the breakdown of the revenue distribution for the top four offers within the specified date range.

  • Filter options: Allows users to filter the data by date and purchase channel, providing a customizable view of revenue data based on specific criteria.

Total Units Sold: This feature provides an overview of the total units sold within the chosen date range and purchase channel. For instance, a clothing retailer can utilize this information to determine the total number of clothing items sold online over the past 30 days.

Total Revenue: This feature displays the overall revenue generated within the selected date range and purchase channel. For example, an online retailer can assess the total revenue earned from sales on their website over the last 6 months.

Distribution of Top Four Offers: This feature showcases the distribution of the top four offers in revenue contribution during the chosen date range and purchase channel. It lists the top four offers and the percentage of revenue each offer contributes to the total revenue generated in that specific time frame and purchase channel. For instance, this feature is valuable for a software company to identify the top four software products that have generated the highest revenue over the past year.

Filter Options: The Net Revenue tab provides users with filter options to refine the displayed data. The date filter allows users to specify a specific date range for the revenue data they want to analyze. Additionally, the purchase channel filter allows users to select up to four options: Membership checkout, Funnel, and Upsell checkout. These filters allow users to focus on specific periods and purchase channels to gain deeper insights into their revenue analytics.

Compare Offers

The Compare Offers tab is the secondary main tab within Revenue Analytics, allowing businesses to analyze and compare the performance of different offers. This tab allows users to assess the revenue generated by each offer and offers the flexibility to compare up to four offers simultaneously. Users can also apply filters based on the offer, purchase channel, and date to obtain more specific insights.

Key features of the Compare Offers tab include:

Total units sold: Provides an overview of the total units sold for each offer being compared.

Total revenue: Displays the total revenue generated by each offer being compared.

Filtering options: Users can apply filters to focus on specific offers, purchase channels, and dates, enabling them to analyze the performance of different offers in a targeted manner.

Total Units Sold: This feature displays the total number of units sold for each offer within the selected date range and purchase channel. For instance, a health and wellness company can utilize this information to compare the number of units sold for their weight loss program and yoga classes over the past 6 months.

Total Revenue: This feature showcases the total revenue generated for each offer within the chosen date range and purchase channel. For example, an e-commerce company can leverage this feature to compare the revenue generated from their top-selling products over the past year.

Filter Options: The Compare Offers tab allows users to filter data based on the offer, purchase channel, and date. The offer filter enables users to select up to four offers for comparison. The purchase channel filter provides up to four available options: Membership checkout, Funnel, and Upsell checkout. Additionally, the date filter allows users to specify a specific date range for analysis. These filtering options allow users to focus on specific offers, purchase channels, and date ranges to gain valuable insights.
